Rallies on the ecocide in Ukraine caused by russian invasion took place simultaneously in 4 American cities (Atlanta, Austen, New York, and San Antonio).
The world can’t ignore it, because ecocide in Ukraine is a problem for each individual. It doesn’t have borders, because the air we breathe circulates around the countries; the water flows from one country to another, eventually ending up in seas and oceans; the wheat which could have grown on the mined and burnt lands won’t feed anyone.
“I’ve been to Ukraine many times, fell in love with its people, enjoyed its nature. Now, it is extremely painful to realize that every life in Ukraine has been impacted by the war. I call on all global organisations and countries to step up and finally show leadership in ending russian aggression and restoring peace for Ukrainians and the rest of the world,” said Veron Ledesma from Austin, Texas.
The topic is extremely important for us, thus, we are thankful to all concerned people, who joined the rallies, and Klych in particular for helping us organise and hold the rallies; their stance on rescuing animals and preserving the ecosystem
