Olga Chevganiuk, the head of the international department of UAnimals, conducted lessons at the Educator\u00a0 lyceum in Kyiv about the conservation of endangered species in Ukraine<\/span>. First, Olga met with first graders, and then held another joint lesson second to fourth graders.<\/span><\/p>\n

The boys and girls learned about the Red Book of Ukraine, why some animal species are disappearing, and why it’s important to preserve them. They also learned about what each of us can do to help nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

The children shared their emotions and stories. And the tutor of the fourth grade, Kateryna Plotnyk, mentioned that she often discusses nature conservation with the students: “In my teaching work, I use a lot of information from the UAnimals page for children<\/a><\/span>. Recently, on the page, we chose cartoons to watch that promote compassion<\/span>, as well as books to read and discuss with the students.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

To raise compassionate people, the most important thing is to be an example for them!<\/span><\/p>\n
