The training was conducted by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/actfast.pro\/en\/my.html\">FAST<\/a><\/span>, a company that teaches organizations how to deliver pre-medical assistance and provides training for military personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Instructors Natalia Boyko, Volodymyr Mukhin, and Hennadii Tytarenko explained how to act in areas of direct danger and relative safety. The UAnimals team practiced applying tourniquets\u2014both on themselves and on each other\u2014and learned how to properly compress and tamponade wounds using silicone models. They also trained in providing assistance in relatively safe zones following the MARCH protocol: checking for unnoticed or untreated bleeding, clearing patients&#8217; airways, addressing lung injuries, and applying bandages.<\/p>\n<p>These skills are especially <span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">critical for UAnimals team members who travel to frontline areas<\/span>. The training included rescuers from evacuation missions, veterinary operations, a fieldwork manager, and a journalist. Other colleagues, such as lawyers, project managers, and coordinators, also participated because these skills are now essential for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second first aid training organized for UAnimals by FAST.
