Over the past year, UAnimals has allocated more than 71.5 million UAH<\/strong> to animal and environmental rescue efforts. A total of 89,553 animals<\/strong> received assistance.<\/p>\n

This wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the support of compassionate individuals: in 2024, nearly 159,000 people<\/strong> contributed to UAnimals projects with donations. The smallest single donation was just 10 kopecks<\/strong>, while the largest amounted to 200,000 UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The rescue department assisted nearly 90,000 animals, providing sterilizations, vaccinations, and medical care during veterinary missions, and evacuating animals from frontline areas. In total, 2,831 animals<\/strong> were evacuated from dangerous zones, including not just cats and dogs, but also cows, horses, sheep, goats, and even a raccoon.<\/p>\n

Rescuers covered an impressive 140,000 kilometers<\/strong> \u2014 the equivalent of 19 flights from Kyiv to New York<\/strong>. We hope these flights will soon become a reality!<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, the 1,550 volunteers<\/strong> in the UAnimals community worked tirelessly. They cleaned shelters, walked with their residents, groomed, bathed, and photographed them, delivered pet food to frontline regions, and planted new green spaces. Of course, they also cleaned up litter in nature: over the year, 44 tons of garbage<\/strong> \u2014 the equivalent of three fully loaded buses \u2014 were removed from Ukraine\u2019s forests and parks.<\/p>\n

In 2024, UAnimals shared the devastating impact of Russian aggression on Ukraine\u2019s environment with the world. One of the year\u2019s highlights was participation in the world\u2019s largest climate change conference<\/a><\/span>, COP29 in Baku<\/strong>, where UAnimals joined the SaveDnipro<\/strong>\u00a0organization to present the Ukrainian pavilion. Attendees from various countries witnessed the crimes against nature through virtual reality glasses.<\/p>\n

There were also innovations in communication: in 2024, UAnimals launched the “Animal Help” chatbot<\/a><\/strong> (in Ukrainian), allowing people to request assistance \u2014 from financial support to evacuation or legal aid.<\/p>\n

Social media posts reached an impressive 88 million views<\/strong>! The most-read piece on UAnimals media<\/em> was an undercover report from the petting zoo “Zviropolis”<\/strong>, where a journalist interned and revealed the truth behind the scenes.<\/p>\n
