Some of them, along with a few who were rescued earlier, have already found loving families. Here, we share the stories of those lucky ones who found their people in March.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">Michael the cat<\/span> was evacuated from Rodynske, Donetsk region, at the end of January, together with three other cats. They had all been living with a local volunteer, Polina. Michael was taken to a veterinary clinic in Kyiv for treatment \u2014 he had a neck injury. UAnimals covered the cost of his treatment. Until December 2024, she lived in the village of Serhiivka near Pokrovsk. She had been cared for by an elderly woman whose granddaughter wanted to move her to a safer place. All of the animals were evacuated by UAnimals rescuers, and the cats were placed in the Save a Life shelter in Khmelnytskyi. Rescuers named him after the soldier who submitted the rescue request. The soldier wanted to transfer him and several other dogs to volunteers in his hometown of Chortkiv, Ternopil region.
