The most frequent requests were from <strong>witnesses of animal cruelty<\/strong> seeking legal support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dogs were the focus of 8 cases, <\/strong><strong>2 involved the killing of a dog. Other <\/strong><strong>3 involved poisoning<\/strong>; <strong>5 cases reported improper keeping of dogs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a report from a <strong>witness of cat abuse<\/strong> and <strong>two complaints about improper cat care<\/strong>. In each instance, the legal team provided clear instructions and action plans for reporting and responding to these situations.<\/p>\n<p>One case involved a <strong>collective complaint<\/strong> from employees of a <strong>state-owned enterprise in the Kyiv region<\/strong>. Stray dogs living on the premises were banned from being fed by management. The legal team advised the employees to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect signatures from coworkers;<\/li>\n<li>Formally request management to lift the feeding ban;<\/li>\n<li>If that fails, suggest humane alternatives \u2014 such as arranging shelter space, placing feeders outside company grounds, or organizing sterilization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other complaints included a <strong>mobile animal exhibit at the Karavan Mall in Kyiv<\/strong> and <strong>photo services using animals<\/strong>.
