It turned out that these photos were taken at the &#8220;Zolotiy Fazan&#8221; recreation center, which has a petting zoo on its territory. When asked directly if it was possible to take photos with lion cubs, the staff of the center answered positively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Protection of Animals from Cruelty&#8221; prohibits keeping large predators at recreation centers and also prohibits providing photo services with wild animals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4728\" src=\"https:\/\/uanimals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_3924-1-600x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uanimals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_3924-1-600x367.jpg 600w, https:\/\/uanimals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_3924-1-1024x626.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/uanimals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_3924-1-768x469.jpg 768w, https:\/\/uanimals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_3924-1.jpg 1371w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lion cubs and other wild animals are separated from their mothers at a very early age to be exploited for profit. Exploited lion cubs with numerous fractures, injuries, illnesses, and in terrible stress have already been received by the Wildlife Rescue Center of Natalia Popova and UAnimals.
