For four years now, we have been carrying out evacuation missions almost every week. We rescue animals from villages and towns in frontline regions. During a single trip, we evacuate between 30 and 60 animals \u2014 companion, farm, and wild animals. Sometimes we also help people evacuate.<\/span><\/p>\n

This has been a regular part of our work since 2022. But now, we have only one evacuation vehicle left.<\/span><\/p>\n

What happened to our vans?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We operated two vans \u2014 \u201cBison\u201d and \u201cBuffalo.\u201d Last year alone, they covered 159,585 kilometers. That\u2019s more than a hundred trips to the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

In February 2025, a drone struck the front of \u201cBison.\u201d The attack damaged the cabin and windshield and destroyed a wheel. The blast wave also hit \u201cBuffalo\u201d \u2014 several windows were shattered and the doors were bent.<\/span><\/p>\n

We repaired the second van and continued evacuation missions. However, in December, another \u043aussian drone destroyed \u201cBuffalo.\u201d Thankfully, the people and animals survived \u2014 but the vehicle burned to the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, we have only one vehicle left. It operates nonstop and requires repairs after almost every mission. Working just a few dozen kilometers from the contact line is always risky \u2014 but working without a second vehicle is even harder.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is why, ahead of our anniversary, we are launching a major fundraiser for a new evacuation van.<\/span><\/p>\n

How much do we need?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our fundraising goal is UAH 2,450,000. <\/span>We are looking to purchase a Volkswagen Crafter \u2014 a vehicle that has already proven effective in our work. It suits our operational needs in terms of size, can withstand difficult road conditions, and allows us to transport many animals safely.<\/span><\/p>\n
