{"id":53673,"date":"2026-03-06T09:30:44","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T07:30:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uanimals.org\/?p=53673"},"modified":"2026-03-06T10:33:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T08:33:44","slug":"155-000-animals-received-assistance-what-uanimals-accomplished-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uanimals.org\/en\/news\/155-000-animals-received-assistance-what-uanimals-accomplished-in-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"155,000 animals received assistance: what UAnimals accomplished in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was another year of full-scale war \u2014 with evacuations under shelling, veterinary missions in frontline communities, support for shelters, legal action against cruelty, and systemic changes in the field of animal protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over 365 days, together with you, we were able to help at least 155,000 animals.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>What we achieved in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the year, we:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evacuated <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>2,607<\/strong><\/span> animals from 87 frontline settlements (our evacuation vehicles covered <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>159,585<\/strong><\/span> kilometers);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">provided medical treatment to <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>13,559<\/strong><\/span> animals;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sterilized <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>4,738<\/strong><\/span> animals;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">delivered food to <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>74,000<\/strong><\/span> animals (a total of 147,000 kilograms of pet food);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">treated <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>4,535<\/strong><\/span> animals during veterinary missions;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">improved living conditions in shelters for more than <span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><strong>23,000<\/strong><\/span> animals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We conducted 12 veterinary missions in 32 towns and villages, carried out 114 evacuation trips, supported shelters with construction, insulation, and equipment, and provided 773 legal consultations in cases of animal cruelty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2025, 1,370 people joined the UAnimals Volunteer Community. Additionally, 4,920 people signed up for regular monthly support.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Financial transparency<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2025, together \u2014 as a public organization and a charitable foundation \u2014 we raised UAH 98.4 million and allocated UAH 100.9 million to our statutory activities: evacuations, medical treatment, sterilization, food supplies, shelter support, legal work, and advocacy for systemic change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These figures represent only part of the extensive work accomplished together.
