Fundraising for the evacuation of animals from Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions

We are raising UAH 310,000 (≈$6,652) for at least three evacuation trips planned for October, and for food for evacuated animals in shelters.

Every day we receive dozens of evacuation requests. The list of animals that need to be taken out keeps growing, so our teams set off on trips every week.

Volunteers in their own cars also join the evacuations. We pass on requests to them and pay for fuel.

Unfortunately, evacuation trips have become more expensive. Fuel prices have risen, and this significantly affects the expenses for each trip. After all, teams drive for hundreds of kilometers.

Your donations will help us pay for:

• fuel for our evacuation vans and volunteers’ cars;
• food for evacuated animals in shelters;
• hay, diapers, veterinary medications, and other supplies;
• meals and accommodation for the team during trips.

Right now, 18 cows, dogs, and cats from Serhiivka in Donetsk region are waiting to be rescued. Their caretakers left the destroyed village under shelling and took their own and their neighbors’ animals with them. Now everyone is waiting for evacuation to a new home in Kirovohrad region. There are many animals, so it will take more than one trip to take them all out.

Another five dogs are waiting near Dobropillia in Donetsk region. Their caretakers stayed with them until the last and looked for a way to evacuate together. In the end, the caretakers had to evacuate on their own. But as soon as they found themselves in a safer place, they immediately turned to us for help.
