304 animals received help in Donetsk region during the UAnimals veterinary mission

The seventh mission for treating and sterilizing animals concluded on March 28. This time, surgeries and treatments were conducted in Druzhkivka and Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Donetsk region.

Veterinarians Nataliya Sokolova and Yuliia Tkachenko treated and sterilized a total of 157 cats and 147 dogs, assisted by veterinary nurse Yaroslava Kryvytska.

Out of these, 174 were stray animals. Together with local volunteers, animal catcher Roman Bidnenko rescued them. The team also included driver Oleksandr Pohrebnyi and manager Andrii Kharchyshyn.

During the mission, the vets vaccinated and microchipped cats and dogs and performed several complex surgeries, including amputations and tumor removals.

The mission was sponsored by the Ukrainian company Gunia, known for its exclusive jewelry, and the Danish organization Animal Protection Denmark.
