On October 19, Ukrainians and foreigners took to the streets of Warsaw to remind the world of the crimes against nature that have become a constant companion of russia’s war in Ukraine. About a hundred activists joined the march. The event was organized by UAnimals and “Euromaidan-Warszawa” with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
During the march, speeches were given in Ukrainian, Polish, and English. Among the speakers were Jacek Grzegorz Wiśniewski from the “Committee for the Defense of Democracy,” Katarzyna Bilewska from “Greenpeace,” and Mykolay Petryga from “Euromaidan-Warszawa.”
Currently, 30% of Ukraine is covered with mines, which is 58% of Poland’s territory. International support is needed to clear this area and stop the aggressor’s advance.

Nature knows no borders, and the environmental consequences of Russian aggression will be felt beyond Ukraine. That is why UAnimals has been holding events in various countries since 2022.
Spread the word about the crimes against nature happening in Ukraine. Russia must face international court and pay compensation!
