Billboards and city lights featuring soldiers who rescued animals from combat zones have been placed on the streets of Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa. This UAnimals project is called “Supporting the army is essential. Helping animals is humanity.”
Some of the animals were sent by soldiers to their families, while others were taken to shelters by the UAnimals team. For instance, rescue workers took puppies from soldier Roman and brought them to Tetiana Nelha’s shelter in Pavlysh. Roman keeps in touch with Tetiana, always checking in on the fate of his former charges.
Among the rescued animals are not only cats and dogs. Oleksandr from Donetsk handed over a cow to the UAnimals evacuation team.
The advertising campaign was carried out by the agency “Yankov Club,” and “Bigmedia” displayed the posters free of charge.
