Football player Oleksandr Zinchenko supports the #StopEcocideUkraine campaign

Within the #StopEcocideUkraine campaign, UAnimals released a social advertisement titled Nature Has no Borders. Football player Oleksandr Zinchenko joined the campaign by sharing a video on his social media platforms, urging the international community to fight against russian ecocide alongside UAnimals.

“The impact of russian environmental crimes extends far beyond the borders of Ukraine. Russian ecocide affects the entire world—polluting soil, water, and air. Ukraine represents 35% of Europe’s biodiversity. Therefore, currently, over 80 species of animals are under threat of extinction due to russia’s aggression,” says Oleksandr Zinchenko on his Instagram page.

The video clip shows a map of Europe woven from threads. It starts to catch fire. As the threads are connected, within seconds, the map burns to ashes.

Nature is a dense network: by destroying one ecosystem, humanity destroys the entire planet. The environmental crimes committed by russia in Ukraine affect the nature of the entire Europe. This is precisely what the video tells us about.

Through this video, UAnimals aims to remind the world that russia must be held accountable for its crimes. The terrorist country must be deprived of membership in international organizations and competitions.

Remember that russia kills people and nature!
