The cooperation between UAnimals and Angelina Usanova began back in 2024. At that time, Angelina — philanthropist, eco-activist, Miss Eco International 2024, and Miss Universe Ukraine 2023 — personally took part in our initiatives, helped animals, and supported projects aimed at environmental preservation.
In 2025, this support continued through the Angelina Usanova Foundation, which became our partner in helping animals and advancing humane initiatives across Ukraine.
Animal and Shelter Support
From January to April 2025, thanks to the Foundation’s support, we improved conditions in shelters, assisted rehabilitation centers, and delivered essential aid to animals in frontline and high-risk regions — providing them with food, medical treatment, and care even in the most challenging times.
During our cooperation, we:
- carried out 17 volunteer initiatives in various regions of Ukraine;
- engaged more than 1,100 volunteers;
- fed 1,710 animals;
- delivered 3,490 kilograms of food;
- conducted 1,560 antiparasitic treatments.
Environmental Initiatives
The Angelina Usanova Foundation also joined our environmental protection projects. Together with UAnimals teams and volunteers, we worked on restoring national parks: installed 100 birdhouses in the Khortytsia and Kyiv National Parks, planted 160 trees in the Lower Dniester National Park, and removed 34 tons of waste from six protected natural areas — making the environment cleaner and safer for wild animals.
Joint Events and Recognition
In March 2025, the Angelina Usanova Foundation became the official partner of the UAnimals Animal Welfare Award, with Angelina herself serving as a jury member. During the ceremony, we honored 14 laureates — volunteers, military personnel, environmentalists, and activists — who save animal lives and protect nature every day, even amid war. Special awards were also presented to military volunteers and wildlife defenders who demonstrated exceptional courage and compassion.
The Foundation also supported our educational initiatives aimed at fostering empathy toward animals and ecological awareness among children and youth.
