UAnimals Invite Volunteers to Support the Rehabilitation Centers Kasova Hora and Vilni Kryla

On Saturday, May 31, volunteers are invited to lend a hand at two animal rehabilitation centers — Kasova Hora in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast and Vilni Kryla in Lviv Oblast. Both places need physical help with cleaning and tidying up the grounds.

Kasova Hora is the largest rehabilitation center for hoofed animals in Ukraine. It’s located on the shore of the Burshtyn Reservoir near the town of Burshtyn. Among its residents are roe deer, fallow deer, a female Przewalski’s horse, spotted deer (transported here with support from UAnimals), and other hoofed animals.

The destination is the village of Bovshiv in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Having a car is not required — UAnimals will organize transport or arrange carpooling with volunteer drivers.

Vilni Kryla (“Free Wings”) is a bird rehabilitation center. It’s home to goldfinches, siskins, turtle doves, jays, barn owls, jackdaws, bullfinches, waxwings, various parrot species, geese, owls — more than 300 rescued birds in total. The center provides medical treatment and, whenever possible, releases birds back into the wild.

This center is located in the village of Kozhychi in Lviv Oblast. As with the other location, UAnimals will take care of transportation.

Volunteers are expected to arrive at 10:00 AM at both centers. After the work is done, there will be guided tours of the rehabilitation facilities. To join, simply accept the volunteer task offered by the UAnimals chatbot. All necessary tools and materials will be provided on-site.
