From September 21 to October 1, UAnimals is organizing rallies in Austria, the Netherlands, Portugal, and France to draw attention to russia’s crimes against nature. These events are supported by the International Renaissance Foundation.
Participants will call on the International Criminal Court to hold russia accountable for environmental crimes. UAnimals will also send a letter to the Court urging it to open a case regarding the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam and to bring the terrorist country to justice.
Another key issue the rallies aim to highlight is the demining of Ukrainian ecosystems. Participants will call on the United Nations and the international community to support programs for demining Ukraine’s natural areas.
