The volunteer community UAnimals will receive support starting in January from singer and winner of the “Miss Ukraine Universe 2023” contest, Anhelina Usanova.
Anhelina represented Ukraine in the international “Miss Universe 2023” contest in El Salvador and the “Miss Eco International 2024” contest in Egypt. Over the course of four months, she will sponsor the UAnimals volunteer community.
The collaboration has already begun: with sponsorship funds from Anhelina Usanova, UAnimals purchased grooming brushes and treats for animals in shelters. This enabled volunteers to organize spa treatments for 170 cats and dogs in eight shelters:
- The “Patron Pet Center” adoption center for animals from the frontline in Kyiv, and the shelters “Kotonosiki,” “Kyiv Cats,” “Best Friends,” and “Adopt Don’t Stop” in the Kyiv region;
- The “Little Prince” rehabilitation center and the shelter run by the NGO “Sayan” in Kharkiv;
- The “Kitty’s Home” shelter in Zaporizhzhia.
Plans include cleaning, photo days, walks with shelter animals, and delivering food for cats and dogs to caretakers in need.
