Seventy-five people from the UAnimals volunteer community spent Independence Day at work: they helped clean animal shelters in 8 regions of Ukraine.

They tidied up the following shelters and animal centers:
– The “Patron Pet Center” adoption center in Kyiv;
– The “Sirius” shelter in the Kyiv region;
– Hostomel Shelter, also in the Kyiv region;
– “Home of Rescued Animals” in Kryvyi Rih;
– “PetCare” in Uzhhorod;
– “Home of Sirko” in the Ivano-Frankivsk region;
– Lviv Municipal Enterprise “Lev” in Lviv;
– “Animal Rescue” in Kharkiv;
– “Ark” in Odesa;
– “Abandoned Angel” in Khmelnytskyi.

The shelter staff themselves requested help: there are currently many animals, and the facilities lack enough hands to do everything necessary. Volunteers eagerly stepped in to help: they cleaned the rooms for animals, washed windows, and tidied up the shelter grounds. Of course, they also spent time with the cats, walked the dogs, and at the “Patron” adoption center, they even attended a yoga session alongside the dogs and cats—a weekly event there.
