Fundraiser for Antiparasitic Treatment for Cats and Dogs in Shelters

ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

The UAnimals website has been taken over by ticks. One of them has just led you here. To make sure they disappear not only from the website but also from the lives of animals, help us “drive them away” — support the fundraiser for antiparasitic treatments.

Parasites harm animals both internally and externally. Cats and dogs not only suffer from constant discomfort but can also develop serious and even life-threatening diseases.

🦠Ticks can transmit piroplasmosis (babesiosis), ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, and borreliosis (Lyme disease). Without timely treatment, these illnesses can pose a serious threat to an animal’s life. Fleas, in turn, can cause anemia, dermatitis, exhaustion, and helminth infection.

In overcrowded shelters, parasites spread very rapidly, leading to outbreaks of diseases that endanger all the animals. Animals with weak immune systems are particularly vulnerable to infections and parasitic diseases.

We have launched a fundraiser to raise UAH 523,000 (≈$12,162) to provide shelters with effective products for regular treatment of animals. With this support we will reduce the risk of infection, make shelters life safer for animals, and help prevent the spread of parasitic diseases.

With the funds raised, we will be able to help approximately 3,300 animals from 9 regions, namely cats and dogs cared for by officially registered shelters and organizations. We accept applications for assistance from them via chatbot.

Every $1, $10, or $50 will make a difference. Friends, join the fundraiser with a donation of any amount you can afford.
