Fundraiser for the treatment of animals under soldiers’ care, 8.0

Amid their combat duties, our defenders find time to care for the most vulnerable — the animals left to face the war alone. When soldiers are unable to help these animals, they turn to us for support💛

We accept requests from frontline areas, including the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The requests are submitted via a chatbot, after which we verify them, coordinate with clinics, and cover the costs of treatment, surgeries, vaccinations, and spaying & neutering. Sterilization is especially important, as animals reproduce rapidly. Without control, even more vulnerable kittens and puppies appear on the frontline.

In our previous fundraisers, we helped a dog named Bobby that soldiers found tangled in an anti-drone net behind a checkpoint. We don’t know how long he was trapped there. When he was freed, he could no longer move, as his paw was severely injured. At the clinic, he was diagnosed with pelvic fractures, frostbite, and serious wounds. Bobby is now recovering in the hospital.

We also partially covered the treatment costs for a male cat, Barsik, and two female cats, Vasilisa and Sonya, brought by a soldier from the frontline. One of the cats could barely open her eyes, but her vision was saved. However, further tests revealed serious illnesses. Two animals had leukemia, and another had a blood infection. They are all at the clinic now, and we will continue to cover the costs as soon as we receive the remaining bills.

In addition, we paid for the treatment of an abandoned dog named Zhulya. She had taken shelter with soldiers at a checkpoint, where she was later hit by a car. Zhulya lived with her injuries for a long time without help. Later, at the clinic, specialists discovered complex fractures, so the dog underwent surgery.
