Fundraiser for a veterinary unit for Another Dimension shelter

We are raising funds for a veterinary unit for AnotherDimension shelter, which is home to 156 dogs in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Currently, the shelter does not have a separate veterinary space. As a result, all examinations, vaccinations, and treatments must be conducted in makeshift areas. For sterilizations and surgeries, animals must be transported to veterinary clinic each time — incurring additional time, expense, and stress for the animals.

For many shelter residents, veterinary care has become a chance at a new life. This was the case for Arisha. When she was found, the dog was lying on the ground, dying from dehydration and severe exhaustion. She was brought to a clinic with serious health issues and anemia. Despite grim prognoses from the veterinarians, the team managed to save her. Today, Arisha is a healthy and happy dog.

The same happened with Lamelka — this puppy was found on the grounds of a thermal power plant in critical condition and was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic. For nearly two weeks, the medical team fought for her life, and later Lamelka also survived a severe case of enteritis. Despite everything, she made a full recovery.

For the shelter team to help animals more quickly and effectively, we have launched a fundraiser for UAH 303,484 (≈$6,783) for a veterinary unit. The space will be divided into two sections: a veterinary examination room for check-ups and preparatory procedures, and a room for surgeries. Here, animals will be examined, vaccinated, treated, and, if needed, performed surgeries on.

With the funds raised, we will finance:

• delivery of all necessary materials;
• welding work;
• installation of a concrete foundation;
• frame construction;
• interior and exterior finishing of the unit;
• tile installation;
• connection of basic utilities.
