Partnership and Collaboration

Partnership with UAnimals means working together on projects with real impact — from direct aid to systemic change.

Who We Are and What We Do

UAnimals is a Ukrainian animal welfare organization that has been promoting humane treatment of animals and protecting them from exploitation and abuse since 2016.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, we focused on rescuing animals from the war: evacuations, veterinary missions, support for frontline communities, shelters, rehabilitation centers, and private animal shelters, as well as soldiers who care for animals on the positions.

At the same time, we continue to work on systemic changes — from advocacy and policy-making to implementing educational programs in schools that advocate for humane treatment of animals.

This is Viki

She is one of more than 155,000 animals UAnimals helped in 2025. She was found on the roadside with a severe injury, and we evacuated her from the Donetsk region. After surgery and rehabilitation, she learned to walk on three legs and found a home.

What a partnership with UAnimals looks like in practice

MasterZoo × UAnimals — «Paw of Care»

Type of collaboration: charitable campaigns involving customers

«Paw of Care» is a long-term charitable project by MasterZoo and UAnimals that provides ongoing support to animals affected by the war.

At MasterZoo stores, customers can purchase a «Paw of Care» charity sticker, with all proceeds going toward rescuing, treating, and supporting animals in frontline regions and shelters.At MasterZoo stores, customers can purchase a «Paw of Care» charity sticker, with all proceeds going toward rescuing, treating, and supporting animals in frontline regions and shelters.

Since 2022, we have already launched six waves of the campaign. This, in turn, has enabled us to provide sustained support for UAnimals’ key areas of work.

Together with MasterZoo, we could:
● raise over 8 million hryvnias to help animals;
● provide veterinary care and treatment to over 8,000 animals;
● deliver quarantine boxes to 26 shelters;
● spay or neuter 4,174 animals;
● perform 182 vaccinations;
● distribute 1,575 kilograms of pet food in frontline communities;
● purchase 1,905 units of veterinary medications.

Josera × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: charitable campaigns involving customers / humanitarian aid

The partnership with Josera is an example of a sustainable charitable model in which regular commercial activity transforms into systematic assistance for animals.

As part of the partnership, 5% of Josera’s monthly pet food sales are allocated to support animals affected by the war. This allows UAnimals to plan aid in advance and consistently supply shelters and volunteers across various regions of Ukraine.

Thanks to this partnership, we have delivered over 202 tons of food to animals in shelters, temporary holding facilities, and frontline communities.

Suziria Group × UAnimals — «Humane Education and Volunteering»

Type of collaboration: educational project

«Humane Education and Volunteering» is a long-term educational project that integrates topics of humane treatment of animals and volunteering directly into the school curriculum.

The project functions as a comprehensive educational ecosystem: starting from developing teaching and methodological materials, training teachers, launching volunteer initiatives to building a professional community of educators. All materials are created in accordance with the New Ukrainian School concept and national education standards, enabling their integration into the actual learning process.

Since the initiative began, over 500 teachers have participated in training webinars, and humane education lessons have been delivered to more than 4,000 children across Ukraine.

Ukrposhta × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: information campaign

The partnership between UAnimals and Ukrposhta is an example of a large-scale information campaign that helped raise awareness about animal protection throughout the country and far beyond its borders.

As part of the collaboration, images of common and endangered animals were displayed on Ukrposhta mailboxes nationwide. The campaign combined fundraising with an important informational component — a reminder of humanity’s responsibility to care for animals and nature.

Thanks to Ukrposhta’s extensive network, the initiative reached nearly all cities and communities in Ukraine, significantly expanding the audience and engaging more people in supporting animal rescue. To amplify the campaign, we also launched a special card design for Monobank users.

Askold and Dir Foundation (ISAR Ednannia) × Ukrainian embassies × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: advocacy project

«Nature on Fire» is an international advocacy project within the #StopEcocideUkraine campaign that amplified Ukraine’s voice in the conversation about Russia’s ecological crimes.

The project emerged at the intersection of two initiatives: UAnimals’ systematic advocacy work within the #StopEcocideUkraine campaign and the mission of the Askold and Dir Foundation, implemented by ISAR Ednannia, to amplify Ukrainian voices abroad.

As part of this collaboration, five art installations were created — Christmas trees serving as symbols that tell the story of the destruction of Ukraine’s environment caused by the war. The installations were placed in Ukrainian embassies across Europe, where they served not only as visual markers of the campaign but also as a catalyst for in-depth coverage and discussions about ecocide in international media.

Deutscher Tierschutzbund e. V. × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: sustainable international partnership / regular financial support

The partnership with Deutscher Tierschutzbund e. V. is an example of long-term international support that enables UAnimals to consistently rescue animals amid the war.

Deutscher Tierschutzbund e. V. is one of UAnimals’ key international partners and provides monthly financial support of 15,000 euros monthly for the implementation of four animal rescue programs. Thanks to this regular assistance, the team can respond quickly to urgent needs, from evacuation and treatment to supporting shelters in frontline regions.

In addition to monthly donations, the partner also funded the purchase of a new evacuation vehicle, which significantly enhanced UAnimals’ ability to rescue animals from combat zones and dangerous areas.

Miller Law Firm × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: pro bono legal support

The partnership with Miller Law Firm strengthens UAnimals’ legal efforts and helps protect animals more effectively within the legal framework.

Miller Law Firm provides UAnimals with pro bono legal support to improve the handling of legal cases involving animal cruelty. The firm’s lawyers are involved in analyzing complex cases, preparing legal positions, and providing consultations, which improves the quality and speed of the UAnimals team’s response.

Thanks to this partnership, UAnimals can more systematically:
● process reports from citizens regarding crimes against animals;
● protect animal rights within civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings;
● provide support to guardians and people who have encountered animal cruelty.

Starcom (Publicis Ukraine) × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: institutional support

The partnership with Starcom is an example of institutional support that strengthens UAnimals’ sustainability and enables long-term planning.

Starcom (Publicis Ukraine) provided a donation of 500,000 UAH for institutional support of UAnimals, which is one of the key forms of assistance for the organization’s stable and systematic work.

Thanks to this support, the UAnimals team was able to maintain operational stability, plan activities in advance, and consistently work to protect animal rights, from responding to crises to implementing long-term changes.

For Starcom, this collaboration also became an opportunity to engage its own team in a socially important cause, inspire them with an example of responsible business, and share the story of animal support with its audience.

VegDog × UAnimals

Type of collaboration: humanitarian aid

The partnership with VegDog is an example of international humanitarian support that directly provides animals with food.

VegDog, a German brand of vegan dog food, launched a charitable initiative to support animals in Ukraine. As part of the partnership, the partners delivered 22,600 kilograms of food to the UAnimals warehouse.

Thanks to this aid, UAnimals was able to provide food to 31 shelters operating in difficult conditions and frontline regions where access to resources is limited.

Our long-term partnership with UAnimals is an investment in lasting social change. Together, we are advancing humane education and teaching children responsible pet ownership, while implementing a range of charitable initiatives, including the ‘Paw of Care’ project with MasterZoo. We are convinced that it is through partnership and mutual empowerment that we achieve high-impact results.
Co-owner and Head of the Supervisory Board of Suziria Group, Founder of MasterZoo.
