Soldiers Rescued a Dog from Their Frontline Positions — She Is Now Receiving Treatment at a Clinic

They cared for her right at the front lines for several days. During a rotation, they took her with them and reached out to UAnimals. Chelsea is now being treated at a veterinary clinic in Dnipro. There, it was discovered that she is also heavily infested with worms. She now faces wound care, treatment, and recovery.

There are dozens of animals like this after every UAnimals evacuation flight. For some, a checkup and vaccinations are enough. Others are brought in with wounds, viral infections, or severe injuries. In those cases, blood transfusions, surgeries, and a long recovery are needed.

Animals evacuated from the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions are currently being treated at clinics in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. Among them is a dog named Dronchik, who was injured during the shelling of Kherson and nearly lost a paw. The veterinarians decided to fight to save it. The dog still faces a long road to recovery, and the bill has already reached 75,000 hryvnias.
