We’re raising 451,652 UAH for food, medical care, cages, and equipment for 300 dogs and 250 cats at the shelter in Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast.
In Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, 550 animals remain in the care of the Give a Chance shelter. Due to regular shelling of the city, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deliver food, medicine, and other essential supplies. Sloviansk is regularly attacked by guided bombs, missiles, and drones. UAnimals has launched a fundraiser for 451,652 hryvnias to help the shelter stock up on essentials and prepare for the cold weather.
Currently, 300 dogs and 250 cats live at the shelter. The shelter is currently unable to evacuate this many animals, so it’s important to provide them with everything they need on-site.
The funds raised will help purchase and deliver the following to the shelter:
Among the shelter’s residents are animals that require ongoing medical treatment and special diets. Some dogs and cats were brought in after shelling. Others were handed over by the military and local residents. For these animals, consistent access to food and medication is essential for their daily care.
Please donate to help the Give a Chance team prepare the shelter for winter.
Your contribution will help build a stockpile of essentials in case of supply disruptions.
