Rescue operations have been completed at the site of a five-story building in Poltava that was struck by a russian missile on February 1. Fourteen people lost their lives, including actress and animal rights volunteer Anastasiia Kolvakh. This was reported by the Theater of Contemporary Dialogue, where she performed and created productions.
Anastasiia was also part of the UAnimals volunteer community. On March 23, 2024, she and her friends planted pine seedlings as part of a nationwide reforestation initiative organized in cooperation with the state enterprise Forests of Ukraine.

She actively participated in other animal protection efforts, including rescuing bats that found shelter in people’s homes.
Anastasiia was a lecturer at the Kinodvizh film club, a member of the writing club I am writing and a volunteer at the art space Kultura. She also worked as a project manager in an IT company.

May the forest she planted grow and keep her memory alive.
