Jill Mathews, the owner of a toy shop in Wales, has launched a fundraiser to help animals in Ukraine. Jill will raffle off three teddy bears and children’s books among the shop’s customers. Raffle tickets, priced at £1 each, will be available for purchase in her shop until March 15.
“I think you are an incredibly brave and compassionate people, especially those who care for and rescue animals. Animals are so vulnerable, and it’s our duty to look after them. The teddy bears we’re raffling are incredibly collectable at the moment,” Jill shared.
Earlier, her son Dan raised funds for UAnimals through a holiday platform, dedicating his effort to the Barcelona Marathon, which he ran with his father on March 10, 2024.
The family lives near Cardiff in Wales and has two dogs, Poppy and Jock.
