Photo exhibition #StopEcocideUkraine in Berlin

UAnimals presented photos in Germany that reflect the facts of ecocide in Ukraine. The exhibition can be attended at the Berlin art space “Art Space in Exile” until August 16.

33 photos were selected for the exhibition. The photos show burning forests, flooded villages, dumps of burned military vehicles, the cracked bottom of the former Kakhovka reservoir and stray animals amidst city ruins. All this should draw the attention of foreigners and Ukrainians abroad to the facts of ecocide committed by russian troops in Ukraine.

The photos were taken by Vlada and Kostiantyn Liberovy, Yurii Stefaniak, Yana Sidash, Karyna Pilyukhina, Antonina Mariia Palarzyk, Andrii Yakymenko, Valeriia Sobakar Khudayar, Kateryna Klochko, Anastasia Meteliyeva, as well as photographers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The representative of UAnimals in Berlin, Justyna Dusan, says: “Foreign visitors fully understand why we emphasize ecocide. And Ukrainians living in Germany say: they are satisfied that every crime is still documented. It is important to show such pictures to foreigners to illustrate the scale of the war.”

While the exhibition lasts, several more events of UAnimals and partners in Germany, the Ukrainian cultural association “Vitsche”, will take place in the art center: performances, discussions, screenings, and other events.
