The UAnimals Veterinary Mission Has Started in Dnipropetrovsk Region

The UAnimals team, in collaboration with the “Accessible Sterilization” project, has traveled to the Dnipropetrovsk region. In a frontline town, veterinarians Natalka Sokolova and Lolita Polishchuk will vaccinate, sterilize, and microchip animals.

While they will assist local residents’ pets, most of their work during veterinary missions focuses on helping stray animals.

The mission team includes:

  • Animal catcher: Roman Bidnenko
  • Veterinarians: Natalka Sokolova and Lolita Polishchuk
  • Veterinary vehicle driver: Oleksandr Pohrebnyi
  • UAnimals project manager: Andriy Kharchyshyn

The team plans to assist 200 animals. Funding for the mission came from donors who purchased “paws of care” in MasterZoo pet stores.

Previous veterinary missions were to the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. The team provided care to nearly 660 cats and dogs.

This is UAnimals’ third veterinary mission. You can learn more about how these missions are conducted in a report on their first operation.
