UAnimals Invites Volunteers to Shelter Clean-Up on January 25

This Saturday, UAnimals volunteers will help clean up 10 shelters across various regions of Ukraine. Everyone willing to join is welcome.

Shelter staff are often overwhelmed with their duties, so they always need extra hands. Volunteers from the UAnimals community traditionally help by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning enclosures, washing bowls, and organizing outdoor spaces. This time, the following shelters are on the list:

  1. Adoption Center “Patron” in Kyiv, Hostomel Shelter in Hostomel, and “In Good Hands” in Vyshneve — all in the Kyiv region.
  2. “Kovcheg” in Odesa.
  3. “Rescue of Animals Kharkiv” and the rehabilitation center “Little Prince” in Kharkiv.
  4. “Ray of Kindness” in Mykolaiv.
  5. “Kitty’s Home ‘Wet Noses'” in Poltava.
  6. “Planeta” in Vinnytsia.
  7. “Rudy Pes” in the village of Stary Lysets, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

UAnimals is providing transportation to out-of-town shelters this time (round-trip). Transport will be arranged for volunteers heading to the Hostomel Shelter, “In Good Hands,” and “Rudy Pes.”

Local coordinators will provide detailed instructions and all the necessary cleaning supplies. After the clean-up, participants can relax and enjoy tea together.

To join, register with the volunteer community. After registration, a Telegram bot will send you an invitation to participate in the clean-up. Once you confirm, you’ll receive further details.
