UAnimals is raising funds for oxygen concentrators to treat animals

UAnimals is launching a fundraiser to purchase equipment that will aid in the treatment and rehabilitation of sick animals. The focus is on acquiring oxygen concentrators, which are planned to be distributed to eight shelters:

– “Zoosimya” in the Kirovohrad region,
– “Get a Friend” in Odesa,
– “Homeless World” in the Kyiv region,
– “House of the Cat” in Khmelnytskyi,
– “Center for Socialization and Adaptation ‘Hostomel Animal Shelter'” in the Kyiv region,
– “Mala Dzyga” in the Kyiv region,
– “Abandoned Angel” in Khmelnytskyi,
– “Friends of Animals” in Konotop.

UAnimals has already purchased oxygen boxes for some of these shelters—these are specialized “rooms” where an animal stays during treatment. If needed, an oxygen concentrator is connected to the box. This device provides a stable and continuous flow of oxygen, essential for supporting the life and health of animals in critical condition.

For example, this device will be used to treat Iriska, who is pictured above. She lives in the “Get a Friend” shelter in Odesa and often suffers from convulsions, during which she has difficulty breathing. Her neighbor, a cat named Vehas, also has breathing issues. The oxygen concentrator will help treat and rehabilitate them, as well as other animals.

Help the shelters save more lives!
