The UAnimals veterinary mission will take place from March 24 to March 30 in a town in the Donetsk region, near the frontline. During the mission, the team of veterinarians will provide aid to both stray and domestic animals in the town and surrounding areas.
Stray cats and dogs will be captured by catcher Roman Bidnenko, while veterinarians Natalka Sokolova, Lolita Polishchuk, and Yulia Tkachenko will treat, sterilize, vaccinate, and protect the animals from parasites. Also joining the mission are driver Sasha Pohrebnyi and manager Andriy Kharchyshyn.
This is already the seventh mission to frontline areas where access to veterinary care is limited — and the second such trip to the Donetsk region. The team plans to help 300 animals.
