We are raising 260,000 hryvnias to evacuate animals. There are more than 60 urgent requests from the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions waiting to be processed.
There are more than 60 urgent requests from military personnel, local residents, and caregivers waiting to be evacuated from the frontline regions. The UAnimals team has launched a fundraiser for 260,000 hryvnias to fund the next three evacuation trips to Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
The situation along the front line is becoming more complicated every day: logistics are getting more dangerous, and the window of opportunity for civilian vehicles to leave is narrowing. Despite this, UAnimals’ evacuation teams continue to make trips as long as settlements remain physically accessible, since animals cannot evacuate on their own.
Among those currently waiting for an evacuation vehicle are three cows, two calves, five cats, four dogs, and 20 chickens in the Kharkiv region. Their caregivers have already evacuated to safety and found a new place to live in the Rivne region, along with all the animals in their care. We want to help reunite this family as quickly as possible.
And in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region, four cows, two calves, nine dogs, and four cats are waiting for our rescuers. The owners were looking for any opportunity to get the animals out so as not to leave them under shelling or have to give them away
