On Saturday, April 20, the UAnimals team invites everyone to join the annual Cleanup.
The event will take place at 5 nature conservation locations:
– Holosiivskyi National Park in Kyiv;
– Roztochia National Biosphere Reserve in Lviv Oblast;
– Karmeliukove Podillia National Park in Vinnytsia Oblast;
– Khortytsia National Reserve in Zaporizhzhia;
– Hutsulshchyna National Park in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
UAnimals chose these locations because they are safe to be in. Specifically, there are no landmines in these parks. Endangered animals live there, suffering from litter: spotted salamanders, lynxes, chamois, noble deer, pheasants, peafowl, quails.
More details about the event and registration for participation are available in the UAnimals volunteer community telegram bot. Signed-up participants can come to the cleanup with their families and friends.
Last year, over 750 people from 9 regions of Ukraine joined the effort. Together, they collected 28 tons of garbage!
Join us to make Ukraine’s national parks cleaner!
