On Saturday, March 23, UAnimals community volunteers will plant tree seedlings in forested areas of Ukraine. The event is dedicated to International Forest Day, celebrated on March 21.
Forestry workers on site will give instructions, and then volunteers will immediately apply this knowledge in practice. UAnimals will provide tools and gloves.
Everyone can join the event in 10 Oblasts: Kyiv, Poltava, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zakarpattia, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Ivano-Frankivsk. Volunteers will plant pine and oak seedlings there.
Volunteers will plant trees in the forests of the state enterprise “Forests of Ukraine,” and in Kyiv, they will also plant trees in the Holosiivskyi Nature Park. Details of the event will be shared in the volunteer chatbot.
