In just three weeks of operation, the educational platform Balachka (“conversation”) has sold 95 mini-lectures by well-known Ukrainian experts across various fields. The most popular lecture was by civic activist, lawyer, and soldier Masi Nayem, titled “What to Avoid When Interacting with Wounded Soldiers.”
Many people hesitate to thank unfamiliar service members because they’re unsure how to do it properly. Masi Nayem offers advice on what might bring joy to a defender and what is better left unsaid or undone.
The second most popular lecture was “How to Use Artificial Intelligence in Everyday Life and Work” by PhD in Technical Sciences Oleksandr Krakovetskyi.

Third place was shared by two conversations:
– A lecture by renowned marketer Andriy Fedoriv, “Why Your Business Needs a Brand and How to Start Building One,”
– And a talk by stand-up comedian Vasyl Baidak, “How to Learn Creative Thinking: From Nonsense to Big Projects.”
Two more mini-lectures received the same number of purchases:
– “How to Communicate with Your Dog Using Gestures” by dog trainer Alek Valuyskov,
– And “Stress Eating” by dietitian Mariia Saifullina.

People are listening to “Balachkas” not only in Ukraine, but also in Poland, Germany, Czechia, and Israel.
A reminder: the educational platform Balachka, like other UAnimals projects, is aimed at helping animals. You can choose a lecture you like and make a donation — 200 UAH or more — to support homeless animals in Ukraine or animals affected by the war.
Pick a mini-lecture on the Balachka platform — there are plenty of relevant topics presented by true experts in their fields!
