In Tatariv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, a man was charging money for taking photos with a white-tailed eagle. UAnimals learned about this and reported it to the police.
Based on this report, the man was investigated, and a protocol was drawn up against him under Article 164, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The bird was confiscated. Currently, the eagle is in an aviary in Yaremche and, according to the police, is safe and under supervision.
Exploiting predatory birds and keeping them for photos is cruel and illegal.
Cases of such treatment of animals should be documented and reported to the police or the government hotline.
