According to the research, only 22% of apartments for rent in Ukraine are ready to be rented to people with animals as of the end of September. A total of 15,782 pet-friendly apartment options were recorded across the country and are available on DIM.RIA
In Kyiv, only 27% of landlords provide the opportunity to live with pets, in Lviv region – 15%, and in Odesa region – 12%. The highest percentage was recorded by DIM.RIA data in Chernihiv region – 29%.
If we consider renting houses with the possibility of living with pets, 40% of such offers are in Kyiv region, 36.5% in Kyiv, 32.2% in Dnipropetrovs’k region and 36% in Vinnytsia region.
Analyzing the districts of Kyiv, the highest number of offers of apartments for rent with pets was recorded in Pecherskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, and the lowest number – in Desnianskyi district.
Looking at the number of rooms, both in Kyiv and across Ukraine, offers of two- and three-bedroom apartments prevail.
