UAnimals had its first offline meeting with volunteers

For the first time, UAnimals met face-to-face with the volunteers who actively participate in the organization’s projects. Volunteers typically engage in activities such as distributing animal food in the frontline areas, spreading information about the blood donation platform in their region, and helping local shelters clean their cages and walk the animals.

The meeting at UAnimals’ Kyiv office was held in a narrow circle. In addition to the volunteers, the founder of UAnimals, Oleksandr Todorchuk, and the volunteer community manager, Nastia Kovalchuk, joined the meeting.

During the gathering, Oleksandr shared insights into the organization’s structure and departments, while Nastya outlined the plans for community development. In turn, the invited participants shared their experience in volunteering and what motivates them to help animals. Some are inspired by the impact of UAnimals’ work, while others find joy in the opportunity to make a difference.

“It is important for us to meet the volunteers personally, to hear their feedback on our collaboration and explore ideas for future initiatives. We plan to continue organizing such offline meetings with the most active volunteers in the community,” commented Nastia Kovalchuk.

The UAnimals volunteer community looks forward to more exciting tasks in helping animals and warm gatherings with like-minded individuals. Interested individuals can join through the chatbot!
