On November 23rd, the UAnimals team launched an online charity shop Animalism. All proceeds will go towards rescuing animals from war, providing them with food and medications.
The store already features the first collection, Endangered Species. It includes clothing, toys, and home goods adorned with images of the European ground squirrel, black stork, common kestrel, Eurasian lynx, and other animals threatened by Russian aggression and human negligence.
“The Endangered Species collection is another way to remind people that due to war, entire species may disappear, not just individual animals. Assessing the consequences of war for nature is challenging right now because of limited access to occupied territories, but they are horrific and will be significant for decades, far beyond Ukraine’s borders,” explained UAnimals founder Oleksandr Todorchuk.
On the opening day, some items from the Endangered Species collection were quickly sold out. However, the team is accepting pre-orders on the store’s website and is already replenishing supplies.
