UAnimals, in partnership with Czech animal welfare organization Psí život, donated bird feed, camera traps, and materials for building aviaries for owls to the Roztochia Nature Reserve and the Free Wings Rehabilitation Center in the Lviv Oblast.
In total, the centers received 2 tons of bird feed from UAnimals and additional 4 pallets of specialized feed from partners in the Czech Republic.
Camera traps are needed in these areas to observe birds with minimal human intervention in the wild animal environment. Part of the equipment has already been provided, and the rest will be purchased with the funds transferred.
Regarding the owl aviaries: UAnimals not only provided materials but also plans to involve the volunteer community in construction. The total area of the aviaries to be built is 240 square meters.
