In April 2023, the company Kantar conducted research to determine who Ukrainians trust the most and are willing to donate money to.
The top five organizations that people are willing to donate to are:
- “Povernys’ zhyvym” Foundation for Competent Army Assistance – 43%
- Sergiy Prytula Charitable Foundation – 42%
- UAnimals Animal Rescue Organization – 25%
- UNICEF – 23%
- Ukrainian Red Cross Society – 21%
Also included in the top list are the “Tabletochky” Charitable Foundation – 19%, the fundraising platform United24 – 17%, and the charitable platform Dobro.ua – 17%.
UAnimals is a humanitarian movement founded in 2016 by activist Oleksandr Todorchuk. The primary goal of the movement was to combat the exploitation of animals in circuses and dolphinariums. Activists spoke out against mass fur production and cruel treatment of animals.
After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, UAnimals has been helping animals in conflict zones.
