On Saturday, December 16th, the UAnimals team, along with a volunteer community, organized a photo day in Ukrainian shelters. Volunteers with a passion for photography took high-quality pictures of animals to increase their chances of adoption.
The photo portfolios were made for animals in shelters across Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Odesa. In Kyiv, volunteers visited the shelter Koto.Khata and the NGO Adopt Don’t Stop, capturing images of these fluffy beauties:

In the Kyiv region, they also went to the Best Friends shelter. Here’s a photo of a cat from there:

In Poltava, they visited the Barboskini shelter. Among others, they photographed this wonderful dog:

In Dnipro, they took photos of animals at the Meow-wow shelter of the Right to a New Life Charitable Foundation, including this black-and-white dog:

In Mykolaiv, they visited the Home Where Love Lives shelter. There, they took a photo of this venerable dog:

In Vinnytsia, they visited the Planet shelter. There is a photo of a dog resembling a wolf:

Volunteers also took photos at the Animal Rescue Kharkiv shelter. Here is one of the photos:

If any of these cats and dogs looks like your future friend, please contact the shelter to get to know the animal. Soon, more photos taken by volunteers will be shared on the shelters’ social media pages.
