In celebration of World Pet Day, UAnimals volunteers cleaned up Ukrainian shelters and the Patron Adoption Center.
On December 2nd, despite shelling and adverse weather conditions in some regions, over 70 compassionate individuals from various parts of the country spent the day providing attention and warmth to animals. Volunteers fed, groomed, and walked the animals, chopped wood, cleaned enclosures, washed dishes and litter boxes, packed food, and replenished bedding.
“I love animals very much, and it’s tough seeing some people abandon them. That’s why I decided to help the animals a bit with my work,” shared volunteer Katya after cleaning at the adoption center’s grooming facility.

“210 hours of care – an achievement of our Saturday! We are incredibly grateful to everyone! Let’s not stop!” said Nastya Kovalchuk, UAnimals volunteer community manager, describing the cleanup campaign at shelters.
