The conference on «Rescue and Rehabilitation of Wildlife in Ukraine» will take place on July 13-14, 2023, at the «Domazhyr» bear sanctuary in Lviv region.
The conference attendees will include representatives from shelters and rehabilitation centers working with wildlife. Among them are Angelina Britsina (NGO «Home for Rescued Animals», Lviv), Marina Shkvirya (Wildlife Conservation Foundation, Kyiv), Natalia Halayko (Domazhyr Bear Sanctuary), Volodymyr Buchko (NGO «Eco-Halytch» in Halych), and other experts.
They will discuss issues related to the welfare of wildlife and how to ensure the best conditions for rescued wild animals.
Together with other Ukrainian specialists, Natalia Popova, the head of the Rescue Center, and Olga Chevhaniuk, the Operations Director of UAnimals, will discuss the challenges faced by Ukrainian rehabilitation centers and work towards a shared vision for their resolution.
Such conferences are essential for UAnimals as they provide an opportunity to learn from the best global practices and professionally and effectively save wildlife.
