This month, we:

🚙 Evacuated 182 animals from frontline regions. Donetsk region. Kherson region. Kharkiv region.
🦉Helped to build hollows for red-listed birds in the Chornobyl Biosphere Reserve.
🐕Raised money and paid for the construction of a new inpatient hospital for the City of Dogs shelter
We cleaned 8 animal shelters in 6 regions of Ukraine.
🍀During the Cleanup March, we collected more than 19.5 tons of garbage. We cleaned up 5 protected areas in Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
🐎Delivered four quarantine boxes to animals in shelters as part of Paws of Care.
🐷Delivered 12,796 kilograms of food for 3,764 pets and farm animals.
🐈Sterilized 706 cats and dogs in the frontline areas.
🐶Engaged linguistic schools in animal rescue and raised UAH 89 thousand for the sterilization of animals as part of the Linguistic Collection.
💸In total, we spent 6 million 186 thousand 84 hryvnias.

🐾We cleaned up 8 animal shelters in 6 regions of Ukraine. 70 volunteers joined in.

🐾We took part in the Cleanup March and cleaned up five protected areas of Ukraine in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Vinnytsia regions. 450 people joined the second All-Ukrainian Cleanup March and collected 19.5 tons of garbage together.

🐾We sent money for the construction of an inpatient hospital for dogs at the City of Dogs shelter — 290 thousand hryvnias.

🐾This month, we helped more than 900 animals for a total of UAH 168,290.

🐾Within the framework of the Paw of Care project, we delivered quarantine boxes to four animal shelters, namely the Without Borders Charitable Foundation, the Kotofei Charitable Foundation, the Bakhmut Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Right to Life Charitable Organization.

🐾We bought 5 tons of food for cats and dogs, which we delivered in April.

🐾We bought five small cages for evacuating animals.

🐾For the sterilization missions, we bought 5 medium-sized cages, 40 doses of rabies vaccines, and 1,200 kilograms of turkey food for dogs.

🤝This month, our legal department processed more than 43 chatbot requests.
🤝We analyzed and prepared conclusions and comments for five bills.
🤝Our lawyers advised people in writing and orally on animal protection.
🤝Employees of the communication department provided comments for journalists on cases of animal cruelty, animal-keeping rules, etc.

🤝The lawyers sent 7 reports concerning animal cruelty to the police:
◦ A request to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine to conduct an unscheduled inspection of the conditions of animals in the rehabilitation center in Khmelnytskyi;
◦ An appeal to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection to conduct an unscheduled inspection at the Vetexpert veterinary clinic;
◦ A request for public information to the state enterprise “Mobile Circus of Ukraine” regarding the deferment of employees from mobilization;
◦ A request regarding the Plan for Vaccination Against Rabies in Wild Carnivores in 2024.
We sent comments (remarks and suggestions) to the Bill “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on the Implementation of the Provisions of the European Union Acquis on the Conservation of Flora and Fauna of Ukraine” (submitted by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine).
🤝We met with Ukrzaliznytsia to discuss our proposals and changes to the rules for the transportation of animals.
🤝We worked on a bill to strengthen criminal and administrative liability for offenses against flora and fauna.
🤝We learned:

• Listened to a webinar on “Restrictions on the Right to Access Public Information” — about the practical side of working with data;
• Participated in the II Forum on Ecology and Sustainable Development.

🐾We shipped 12,796 kilograms of food for 3,764 cats, dogs, and pets from our warehouse in Lviv.

🐾We paid for the treatment of an evacuated husky dog, which was taken from the Donetsk region along with 6 puppies at the request of soldiers. After treatment, the dog was handed over to a soldier’s relatives in Kyiv.

🐾In April, we evacuated 182 pets and farm animals:

🐶28 puppies, 15 dogs, 29 cats, and 6 ducks from the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions (Kostiantynivka, Velyka Novosilka, Yasnohirka, Selydove, Mykhailivka, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Kupyansk);

🐈31 cats and kittens, 26 dogs and puppies from Kherson and the Kherson region (Chornobaivka, Novoraysk, Bilozerka, Muzykivka);

🐶26 adult dogs and puppies and 21 cats with kittens from the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions (Kupyansk, Vovchansk, Borova, Koroviy Yar, Selydove, Toretsk, Rayhorodok, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk).

🐱We transported 3 cats from a veterinary clinic in Krasnohrad, which had been left there for treatment during previous trips (one cat found a family, and two went to shelters);

🐾During the evacuation trips, we handed over:

• 375 kilograms of food for puppies and 100 kilograms of food for adult dogs at the Zoosimya charity foundation in Pavlysh, where evacuees are constantly being taken in;
• 400 kilograms of dog food to the NGO Ecozakhyst in Starokostiantyniv; they also sheltered an evacuated dog from the Donetsk region;
• 200 kilograms of dog food to the Abandoned Angel NGO in Khmelnytskyi; we also brought two evacuated dogs from the Donetsk region;
• 144 kilograms of food for cats in the From Heart to Tail Kyiv shelter; the shelter also takes care of evacuated cats from the Kherson and Donetsk regions;
• 200 kilograms of dog food at the Another Dimension charitable organization in Zelenodolsk, where 6 evacuated dogs from Kherson were transferred;
• 190 kg of dog food at the Chance Shelter for Stray Animals in Kherson.

🐹We received 4,882.5 kilograms of dog and cat food from our partner Josera.

🐹We agreed to start cooperation with the Mikki Family pet store.

🐹We received a cargo of humanitarian aid from Alfa Spedizioni.

🐹We held the Linguistic Collection and raised UAH 89 thousand for animal sterilization. We thank the English, Italian, French, and Finnish schools for their support.

🐹We agreed to cooperate with the YouControl service.

🐹Launched a charity drop with the Femka brand to support the collection of funds for the hospitalization of horses at the Pegasus shelter.

🐹We agreed to cooperate with the Todli pet store.

🐹Khrystyna Soloviy and the band Yahody supported the collection for the hospitalization of horses at the Pegasus shelter.

🐹We agreed to cooperate on Salesforce CRM integration with the consulting and software agency Noltic.

🐹We partnered with the Creative Sich creative community.

🐹Won a grant for media and organization of international events from the Renaissance Foundation.

🐹Launched the Fluffy Donation project with the MasterZoo pet supply chain.

🐹We have agreed to cooperate with Aviatsiya Halychyny and are preparing a joint project.

🛎Also, this month, we supported the Phoenix charity organization and donated money to treat animals evacuated from Toretsk.

🛎We transferred financial assistance to the Chance Animal Protection Service to pay for the treatment of evacuated animals from Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region.

💉We sterilized 706 animals, including 462 cats and 244 dogs.

💉We conducted on-site sterilizations in the Odesa region: Rozdilna, Yelyzavetivka, Bolharka, Vynohradar, Bilyayivka, Nadlymanske dacha community.

💉We helped to treat the dog of a pensioner IDP from the Donetsk region. The dog is 11 years old and needs urgent help. We paid for a medical examination, necessary tests, and ultrasound diagnostics, and then we bought the necessary medicines for the dog.

🐴We started accepting requests to help wild animals and nature through our chatbot.

🐴We launched the purchase of building materials for the Horse Paradise ranch.

🐴Fundraising for the Chornobyl Biosphere Reserve for the construction of artificial hollows for red-listed birds has been completed.
