Report on Fundraiser for Rabies Vaccines and Treatment for 500 Animals

A total of 295 kind-hearted people joined the fundraiser to buy medicines for cats and dogs.

Thanks to the support of generous benefactors, we were able to help seven non-governmental organizations: Nika, DIMPETS, Kytskin Dim. Mokri Nosy, Fatum, Praid, Mala Dzyha, Poriatunok Tvaryn Kharkiv, and three charitable foundations: Novyi Svit Kryvyi Rih, ZooSimya, and Dopomozhemo Tvarynam Razom.

Treatment and vaccination are essential, especially when many animals live together. The health of the entire group must be taken care of to prevent them from infecting each other. Also, rabies vaccination is a humane method of tackling the spread of this disease without killing animals.

For the money we raised, we bought rabies vaccines and combination drugs to treat dogs and cats against fleas, worms, and other parasites. We planned to help 500 animals but ultimately managed to vaccinate and treat 739 animals under ten applications.
