Exactly one week from now, on May 29, UAnimals media readers will once again gather in Lviv. UAnimals media is a publication dedicated to compassion toward animals and nature. This time, we invite everyone to join the discussion of an article about russia’s ecocide in Ukraine. There’s still time to take part—just start by filling out this form (in Ukrainian).
The meeting will take place on May 29 at the Sicilian Courtyard (Siciliyskyi Dvoryk, 20 Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, Lviv). It begins at 6:30 PM.
We’ll be discussing Viktoriia Topol’s article: “Kyianytsia, Dzharylhach, Kinburn: The Beloved Ukrainian Places Russia Is Destroying.” In the piece, the author collects stories from well-known Ukrainians about their favorite places that have suffered as a result of russian aggression.
This is already the second UAnimals Media Club event to be held live in Lviv. Just like in winter, the discussion will be moderated by UAnimals media editor Katya Nikishova. She will also share memories of childhood places she now longs for.

Do you have something to share too? Then see you at the Sicilian Courtyard in Lviv on May 29. Don’t forget to fill out the form!
