Fundraiser for three evacuation trips to Donetsk region and food for rescued animals

Every day, we receive plenty of requests to evacuate animals. Companion animals, farm animals, and sometimes even wild ones. People are forced to leave their homes as the frontline is approaching, and animals have no chance of survival on their own.

We are raising UAH 210,000 (≈$4,704) for three evacuation trips and to purchase food for the rescued animals.

Our evacuation team sets out on these trips every week. On a single run, we manage to evacuate between 30 and 50 animals. The raised funds will go toward fuel, hay, absorbent pads, and other transport supplies, food for the animals during evacuation and after they arrive to shelters, as well as basic meals for the team during the trips.

Among those waiting to be rescued is a dog named Filya. His owners abandoned him, but kind-hearted people took him in. Now they are also forced to evacuate and are asking for help to save him.

Another dog is Sharik, who is being cared for by an elderly woman. She asked us to have the dog transported to her grandson, as she can no longer properly look after him.

There is also a puppy waiting for evacuation. He was rescued by a soldier. The defender wants to move the animal to his mother, who will take care of the pup in a safer city.

And there are dozens of such stories. Behind every evacuation request is an animal waiting for someone to come and rescue them.

If any funds remain after the campaign’s needs are met, we will direct them toward veterinary care for the rescued animals: diagnostics, surgeries, vaccination, and treatment.
