Throughout the month, UAnimals evacuation teams conduct 8–10 trips, transporting pet, farm, and wild animals from the most dangerous areas of frontline Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

War spares no one. Animals suffer from shelling, injuries, hunger, and disease.

To continue this crucial work and save as many lives as possible, we need to raise $12,500.

What your donations will cover:

  • Fuel for evacuation vehicles and equipment repairs;
  • Crates, pads, straw, and other transportation necessities;
  • Treatment for injured and sick animals;
  • Support for animals in shelters: medical feed, treatments, etc.;
  • Food and accommodation for the evacuation team.

Every day, we receive dozens of evacuation requests. Many people are unable to transport animals on their own. Residents of frontline towns and villages also reach out to us. Even in these difficult times, people care for abandoned animals and ask us to take them to safer places.

These little ones from Pokrovsk were cared for by a kindhearted girl named Polina. She reached out to us to evacuate them along with four other cats. They are now safe and living at the Friend shelter in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In June 2024, we evacuated a resident of Toretsk along with 80 animals. From the Donetsk region, our team rescued a cow, a bull, two calves, three geese, seven ducks, a peacock, nine parrots, a waterfowl, and 50 chickens.

Often, our defenders find abandoned pet and farm animals on the frontlines, care for them, and then contact us for help.

In December, we evacuated a mama dog and her puppies. A soldier in Kurakhove rescued the dog and planned to adopt her, but he was killed in action. His comrades reached out to us to find shelter for the mother and her pups. We transported them to Tetiana Nelha’s shelter in Pavlysh, and one of the puppies has already found a new family.

Sometimes, we have to evacuate wild animals that were kept in captivity but later abandoned because they became a burden.
